Do you know someone who would benefit from some extra support at home or in the community?
We also are looking for volunteers who live within the areas of Coxhoe, Trimdon, Fishburn, Sedgefield. Volunteer befrienders benefit from full training and support.
The Health Buddy project offers support from trained volunteer befrienders for up to 4-6 months. The support is flexible, practical and short term.
We can provide support to individuals with their shopping, attending social activities and medical appointments, or simply taking the time to listen over a cup of tea.
We can also assist individuals in accessing other appropriate services in their local area to ensure continued support.
