Pioneering Care Partnership Employee Benefits

The Pioneering Care Partnership (PCP) offer a range of comprehensive benefits which recognise and reward the contribution made by our staff, a summary of the main ones are:

Holidays
PCP offer a generous Holiday entitlement of between 27 – 32 days (dependent on length of service), and in addition to the annual leave employees also receive eight paid statutory Bank holidays.

Structured Pay System
PCP applies a structured Grading Policy in line with Good Pay Principles:

  • Transparency – being open about how pay is set.
  • Proportionality – being fair and consistent.
  • Performance – ensuring that the salaries set work for the organisation and the beneficiaries
  • Recruitment and retention – reviewing the policy to ensure we keep valued staff within the organisation.
  • Process – ensuring that the principles of good pay are supported by relevant procedures.

Pension Scheme
Under new laws governing workplace Pensions, PCP offers a Personal Pension Plan with AEGON called an Auto-Enrolment Scheme. All eligible employees will automatically be enrolled into this scheme once they commence employment, staff that are not automatically enrolled may have the option to opt into the scheme. For further information please contact Human Resources.

PCP Savings Scheme
PCP together with NEFirst Credit Union is pleased to offer all employees a free Savings Scheme, which is covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS)
It gives employees the opportunity to save on a monthly basis as little or as much as you wish. The savings are deducted from your monthly salary and held in a pot by NEFirst Credit Union. If at any time you wish to withdraw your savings a request can be made to HR and this will be done hassle free and paid straight into your nominated bank account.

Staff Training & Development
PCP recognises the importance of learning to the success of the organisation and is committed to the investment in, and development of our staff through a structured appraisal system, policy training programme and a comprehensive Company Training & Development programme. PCP also has regular Team Building and Job Shadowing sessions.

Work Life Balance
PCP is committed to attracting and retaining the very best staff and utilising all the talent and experience available, appreciating that the UK workforce is becoming increasingly diverse and includes a high percentage of parents and individuals with other caring responsibility, as well as those whose personal circumstances may impact on their time. Normal 9 to 5 working is in many instances increasingly incompatible with the demands for a better work-life balance.
The organisation recognises the importance of helping staff to balance their work and home life by offering the possibility of flexible working arrangements.

Maternity/ Paternity/Adoption Benefits
