Volunteering opportunities

Volunteering is an excellent way for people to get involved in their local community. It provides people with an opportunity to make new friends, whilst learning new skills to help them get into further training, education or employment.

The PCP recognises the invaluable contribution that volunteers make in supporting the organisation to achieve its mission and are keen to support any individuals who would like to give a little of their time to make a big difference.  All volunteers will be provided with a training and induction programme and a designated member of staff to support them in their chosen role, as well as out of pocket expenses.

109 active volunteers supported the projects and activities over this financial year.  This year volunteers delivered an astounding 7863 hours of activity to support PCP’s work, 100% of volunteers completed necessary policy training and 86% reported that they felt better about themselves since volunteering.
