At the Pioneering Care Partnership (PCP) we are committed to providing a high-quality service and place of business to our visitors, service users, volunteers and staff. Our awards:

Quality Management Systems, Standard ISO9001 is a rigorous process of external quality assessments which ensures the highest levels of service and procedures are adhered to in order to provide the best possible customer experience.

Standard for Environmental Management Systems, Environmental Quality Standard ISO 14001 is the world's most recognised environmental standard the ISO 14001 forms a part of PCP’s Environmental Management System, which helps us identify our environmental impact and take action to improve our performance.

Equality Standard Gold Award demonstrates that we are proud to lead the field in our approach to Equality and Diversity by recognising the needs of the individual and society.

The North East Better Health at Work Award has been developed to give recognition to workplaces in the North East Region which actively promote workplace health. PCP continue to maintain Continuing Excellence level.

Investors in People- Silver grade recognises excellence in the organisation's management effectiveness, the involvement and empowerment of employees and the active support of their personal and professional development. 

The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) is established as the market leader for health and safety pre-qualification in the UK. This accreditation means that the PCP meets a nationally recognised and accepted threshold standard

The County Durham Learning (CDL) Quality Kitemark is awarded to those organisations delivering learning activities which have no formal qualifications, generally in a community setting. The Kitemark is designed to reassure learners that the learning activities they are undertaking are of the highest standard.

Mindful Employer PCP demonstrates its commitment to the mental wellbeing of their staff by; Showing a positive and enabling attitude to employees and job applicants with mental health issues. Providing non-judgmental and proactive support to individual staff who experience mental health issues. Disability Confident Scheme is a means of communication, which is intended to inform the people we employ, and any other disabled people who might be interested in our organisation, that we have a positive approach to employing disabled people.

Approved Provider Standard – Mentoring and Befriending is the national standard for mentoring and befriending. It provides an excellent framework within which you can develop new projects and/or review your existing project. The 4 key areas are Management and Operation, Service Users, Mentors and Befrienders and the Mentoring and Befriending relationship.
